Community work in New York Williamsburg Art & Historical Center, Madrid Fundación Beas, Dominican Republic Oné Respe, and Jordan Alliance for Solidarity, National Gallery of Fine Arts
“We all do volunteering work in the arts. Quite often even more than in other walks of life. Passion for what we do is a strong asset to follow our dreams, and it may take us to make a difference in culture and education. Contact with community work goes beyond this gallery. Behind these exotic places, there are beautiful stories in the arts. Spanish painter Goya said that ’the sleep of reason produces monsters’. And, yes, in social work, we fight monsters.” —PV
